Dwayne Johnson Has Confirmed That He Will Not Return For Fast & furious 10 And 11

Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel‘s feud may be over, but that doesn’t mean the former will be joining the Fast & Furious franchise for its next two installments. The Luke Hobbes actor acknowledged his absence from the final two major films in a new interview with SlashFilm.

Diesel’s recent statements with Dwayne Johnson

In which his co-star stated that his approach of “tough love” toward Johnson was actually meant as an incentive to help bring forth a better performance, which prompted him to make the statement. Johnson, in turn, responded by saying he laughed hard when he heard that, before announcing his departure from the franchise.

The man said, “I laughed, and I laughed hard.” “I think that made everyone laugh. That’s all I’ve got to say about it. I’ve also wished them well. On Fast 9, I wish them luck. And I wish them luck with Fast 10 and Fast 11, as well as the remainder of the Fast and Furious films they will make without me.”

While nothing is set in stone, The Rock’s decision appears to be rather firm and unambiguous, implying that the chances of him returning are exceedingly slim. Still, there’s enough mystery to give fans hope that he’ll appear in upcoming Fast and Furious sequels and spin-offs, such as the Hobbs & Shaw sequel.

It isn’t the end of the road for the family, but it certainly feels that way. After all, even the best things must come to an end.
