Microsoft has remained tight-lipped about Halo Infinite’s release date, but a new store listing may have revealed the information. Halo Infinite is set to release on December 8, 2021, according to a Microsoft store listing spotted by @ALumia Italia on Twitter.
Halo Infinite: Release Date
In a subsequent post, the user explained that the store listing had been updated with the new release date, description, and screenshots. The Microsoft store description section for Halo Infinite has a placeholder release date of December 31, 2021, as of this writing.
While Microsoft did not reveal anything about Master Chief’s next adventure during its Xbox gamescom stream, it’s possible that the information will be revealed tonight during the Opening Night Live show.
For both PC and console, Halo Infinite will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. On all platforms, the game’s multiplayer component will be free to play, and certain core features such as campaign co-op and forge mode will be added a few months after launch.
