Halo Infinite Revealed Its PC System Requirements

Can your PC run Halo Infinite?

Unlike previous installments in the main series, Halo Infinite will be available on PC right away. The game’s system requirements have now been released, revealing what kind of computer you’ll need to play it.

The minimum requirements, according to Steam, are an AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4400 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and an AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. Meanwhile, the recommended hardware includes an AMC Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070 graphics card. This is true for both the campaign and multiplayer, which, according to the Steam page, will take up roughly 50 GB of space to install.

These are the official system requirements for the campaign and multiplayer, according to a Microsoft spokesperson. Should they alter before the launch, 343 will notify fans.

Halo Infinite was “designed from the ground up for PC,” according to Microsoft. It will include “advanced graphics settings,” compatibility for ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitors, triple-key binds, and dynamic scaling and changing frame rates, among other things.

Halo Infinite is currently set to release on December 8 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, following a lengthy delay. Game Pass includes the campaign mode, however multiplayer is absolutely free to play. The December 8 release date is the farthest into the year that Microsoft has ever released a new mainstream Halo game, but analysts say that because Halo Infinite is a live service game that will develop and evolve over time, the precise timing may not matter as much.

In other Halo Infinite news, the second beta test will be more comprehensive than the first, incorporating Big Team Battle and 4v4 Slayer. Microsoft also intends to invite more players to this test, so if you were unable to participate in the first, you may have a better chance in the second. Signing up for Halo Insider is the only way to get in.
