This collection primarily contains new PS5 games, which PS4 users will not be able to play. It’s not uncommon to see something like this these days, as Sony wants its players to upgrade to their next-generation console, the PS5. For users of previous-generation consoles, only four games have been released. Aside from that, a list of all the PS Plus free games for July 2021 is available here.

Sony is currently working to meet demand for their upcoming next-generation consoles. PS5 has been in short supply, owing in large part to the COVID-19 outbreak. Because of the scarcity of these consoles, sales of the Xbox Series X and S increased at first, but those consoles soon ran out of stock as well. Sony is expected to release a new set of PS5 pre-registration on July 12. Keep an eye on Sony’s social media accounts for any updates on the PS5 restock.
